1st XI struggles continue against KCS Wimbledon

17 Oct 2016

The OHAFC 1st XI continue to struggle on their return to the Premier Division of the Arthurian League with a fourth consecutive defeat, this time at home to KCS Wimbledon.

Yet again the side performed creditably but were undone by a goal in each half, the first courtesy of a defensive slip that gifted Wimbledon the ball inside the hosts' box.

Alex Gilbert had a penalty claim turned away and Doug Morrison fired across goal early in the second half but the Blues once again failed to find the net - the side have now scored just twice in their opening four League fixtures.

The defeat leaves Ed Poulter's men firmly rooted to the foot of the table ahead of next weekend's crunch clash with the side just above them, the Old Brentwoods - who have also struggled after earning promotion last season.

Saturday's team sheet and match report is now available in the results section.
