3s extend winning run to eight games

The OHAFC 3rd XI continued their march towards claiming the Division Five South title with a hard-fought 1-0 win over a surprisingly resilient Old Epsomian 2s side on Saturday afternoon.

The only goal of the game was scored by 3s leading marksman Alex Smith just after the half-hour mark, but that proved to be sufficient to earn the points and, in the process, send Nick Kapoor's men four points clear at the top of the table with five games to play.

The side have a further home League fixture to play this Saturday, with the visit of King's Scholars to the Hill, before beginning their David Woolcott Trophy campaign with a tough trip to the Old Bancroftians the week after.

Saturday's lineup, details and Connor Barrett's match report are now available in the results section here.
