Wednesday night saw the first pre-season session of the summer take place with eleven Old Harrovians in attendance in Hyde Park for an hour's gentle five-a-side.

The group were split into two teams of five with Alex Gilbert playing the 'utility' role: playing for whichever team is in possession but being unable to score himself.

The bibs took an early lead through a complete fluke from Jamie Barwick, who sent the ball forward from just in front of his goal only to see it curve in a perfect arc between the opposition posts.

For a while, a comfortable victory looked to be heading bibs' way as they opened up a 3-0 cushion.

But Colours stayed in the hunt and began to control proceedings, scoring consistently in the second half to first level at 3-3, then take the lead thanks to Lederman's close-range effort.

With time expiring Colours put the gloss on their victory with the final goal of the game to earn a 5-3 win.
