Gbeminiyi Soyinka has come up trumps once again with an impressive 20 goals in 12 appearances for the 2nd XI in 2016/17. Trailing in his wake were fellow 2nd XI midfielders Jack Alhadeff (14 goals) and David Lederman (7 goals), testament to a successful 2nd XI promotion campaign.

A particular highlight for Bem was bagging 4 goals against Brentwood III’s at (H) in the First Round of Junior League Cup along with hat-tricks against Eastbourne (H) and Aldenham II’s (A). The prolific front man also clocked braces against Epsom (H), Alleynians II’s (H) and Aldenham II’s (H).

The striker now sets his sights on Division 2 and will look to produce similar quality at the higher level.
