Vets crawl into Cup semis after extra-time win

20 Feb 2017

The OHAFC Vets led twice, were pegged back twice but finally overcame a well-oiled Charterhouse outfit in extra-time to reach the semi-finals of the Derrick Moore Vets Cup.

Goals either side of half-time from Dom Danos appeared to have handed the hosts the advantage but both times the visitors replied in quick succession.

Extra-time was a one-way affair however and early goals from Quentin Baker and Harry Hoffen killed the tie off for an exhausted Harrow team.

John Wyn-Evans men now face Lancing in the semi-finals with the tie again to be played at the Bank of England Ground some time in March.

The team lineup and match report from Sunday are now available in the results section here.
