Charlie Stebbings

biography

Charlie left school in July 2012 and quickly marked himself out as a talent for the future when he notched hat-tricks in consecutive weeks in the build-up to the 2012/13 season.

He scored three times in one of the inter-club matches that took place as part of the Festiphil, marking the opening of the new Charles Alcock Pavilion in mid-Septmeber.

A week later he scored three times in the second half to help the 1st XI to a 5-1 win over Stowe in the third of their pre-season friendlies.

It was no surprise therefore when the powerful youngster got his name on the scoresheet on his official debut for the club, scoring Harrow's third in the excellent 3-1 opening day victory away to Brentwood, in front of his watching parents.

Charlie enjoyed a highly encouraging first season for the old boys, ending the campaign with ten appearances, four as starter, and scoring five goals. A three-year degree at Exeter may see the striker's appearances for the side reduced in the coming seasons but he looks to be an important player for the future.
