The OHAFC 1st recorded just their third League victory of the 2016/17 season on Saturday afternoon, defeating the Old Brentwoods 2-1 on the school astroturf - the second successive season the fixture has produced the same result.

Although too late to preserve the 1s' Premier Division status, the result at least rewarded the team with a rise off the bottom of the division, Brentwood replacing them going into the final round of fixtures for the season.

And, on a personal level, the game saw the first two goals at senior level for youngster Jesse Duah, who struck twice in the first half to earn the points. In between, Brentwoods mustered an equaliser, but the second Harrow goal proved the difference with neither side able to break through in the second half.

The game was also notable for the reappearance of Rowley Higgs, who hadn't been seen in an OHAFC shirt for many seasons. 3rd XI regulars Harry Bick and Ollie Feather both made their 1st XI debuts and Tom Bell returned to action for the first time this season as skipper Ed Poulter pulled every string available in order to field a side.

The 1s round off their season with a trip to champions Charterhouse, although with the 'Magenta' in numerous cup finals, no date has yet been set for the fixture. The OHAFC will need a point to ensure a ninth place finish.
