The OHAFC 3rd XI took on Old KCS Wimbledon 3s in the side's first home game of the season and looking to build on their thumping 3-0 victory over the Shirburnians in their previous outing.

There were a few changes to the squad as Hussein Janmohamed and Chuka Ilogu returned to the squad along with debutant Olly Roberts, the trio replacing Turner, Okoigun and Graham who had put in stellar performances the week before.

Harrow immediately stamped their authority on the game from the off with some neat possession football building from the back, the Barrett twins dictating proceedings while Nick Kapoor and Charlie Bick dominated in the middle of the park. Alex Smith was put clean through early on, only to be halted by a close offside call, as the hosts dominated the opening skirmishes.

It was only a matter of time before the same scenario presented itself and Olly Roberts, who was growing into the game in his attacking midfield role, played a neat through-ball which Smith collected to neatly finish past the Wimbledon 'keeper and put Harrow 1-0 up.

The team did not get complacent and continued to peg Wimbledon back with some expansive football which saw full-backs Fogarty and Awdry offering great support to Oscar Gairard and Ned Callander down the flanks. Smith, Gairard and Roberts all went close, seeing their shots going just off target - given their dominance, Harrow should really have killed the game by half-time but Smith's strike remained the only difference between the teams.

Wimbledon began the second half brightly, seeing more of the ball, with Harrow still apparently pondering their missed opportunities. Some outstanding defending from the Barrett twins, Fogarty and Awdry, kept them the visitors at bay, whilst Kapoor was stifling any threat in the middle of the park, shutting down any opponent in possession in a dominant display.

Then a tactical decision to move Roberts back into centre-midfield after a short spell on the right propelled Harrow forwards again and the side won a free-kick up the field. It was the twin combination that paid off as Kyle Barrett whipped in a ball from the right-hand side which caused panic in the six-yard area, the Wimbledon 'keeper flailing as Connor Barrett gleefully turned the ball home.

There was then time for some sensational defending with a triple block on the line from both Barrett twins and Joss Awdry, who was really establishing himself in the left-back role. Moments later Roberts was rewarded for his exceptional work following a driving run from Charlie Bick through the middle of the pitch that ended with a fine through-ball which the youngster made the most of , reaching the ball just ahead of the 'keeper to lift it over him with a delightful finish.

With the game wrapped up there was time for a cameo appearance for Chuka Ilogu, who came on for the last fifteen minutes, getting straight into the opposition's box for a Harrow corner. Another fine ball whipped in from Charlie Bick caused more chaos in the Wimbledon area and the ball fell to Ilogu at the edge of the box who finished with a neat left-footed strike into the bottom corner - his first ever goal for the club. He celebrated fittingly, in his own under-stated way...

With just a few minutes left and the 3s now completely out of sight, the hosts could be forgiven for some complacency as they allowed the Wimbledon striker to drive forwards and unleash an unstoppable twenty-five yard strike past 'keeper Harry Bick. It was the first goal conceded by the converted midfielder this season and the first Harrow had conceded in 180 minutes of football.

Another much deserved win for the 3's that moves them up to 2nd in the Division Five South table, with the side continuing to build some real momentum. Long may this run continue.
