1st XI off the mark with draw at Brentwood

24 Oct 2016

A patchwork OHAFC 1st XI produced a fine performance in Essex on Saturday to earn their first point of the League season with a 1-1 draw against fellow strugglers Brentwood.

Despite fielding three debutants and their only substitute being former goalkeeper Rudy d'Oliveira, Ed Poulter's men battled throughout, equalising an early goal for the hosts thanks to a fine effort from Oli Walker.

Although they remain bottom of the Premier Division, recent performances suggest that the side are more than capable of competing with most of the sides and just require the lengthy injury list to clear before wins begin to arrive.

The team lineup from Saturday plus a match report from skipper Ed Poulter is now available in the results section here.
