1st XI suffer again at the hands of Charterhouse

4 Oct 2016

The OHAFC 1st XI suffered their second defeat of the season on Saturday as they were finally over-powered by Charterhouse on the Hill.

A disciplined first-half display saw chances for both sides few and far between and it took an unfortunate ricochet to spring the Harrow rearguard and allow the visitors to take the lead.

A second goal for the visitors on the hour knocked the stuffing out of the hosts and the visitors scored twice more in the closing stages to make the final score 4-0.

The result leaves Ed Poulter's side still searching for their first points of the season prior to the visit of champions Tonbridge next weekend.

There was further grim news for the OHAFC with skipper Fred Milln forced to go off early with a knee injury that is likely to rule him out for up to a month.

A full match report plus team lineup is now available in the results section.
