1s unbeaten run ends with 2-0 Tonbridge loss

28 Nov 2016

The OHAFC 1st XI's four-game unbeaten run in the Premier Division came to an end on Saturday as the side were unlucky in losing 2-0 at reigning champions the Old Tonbridgians.

After falling behind midway through the first half, the visitors twice came close to drawing level soon afterwards when skipper Ed Poulter had a penalty saved before then seeing his excellent free-kick turned onto the post by a super save from the 'keeper.

Despite some excellent play in patches, the Blues could not force a way back into the game and the hosts made sure of the points with a late second.

The defeat leaves the side still in seventh position in the table with a must-win game against fellow strugglers the Old Salopians to come in a fortnight's time.
