1s recover from early setback to force replay

24 Oct 2017

The OHAFC 1st XI conceded an early goal in their Arthur Dunn Cup first round tie with Alleynians on Saturday but recovered well to equalise through Alex Breeden in the second half and can consider themselves slightly unfortunate not to have gone on and won the tie.

Both sides had chances in the ninety minutes and the half-hour of extra-time to prevent the need for a replay, but a third goal never arrived and the teams will have to go again a week on Saturday in Dulwich to decide who progresses to the second round.

Yunus Sert's men return to League action next weekend with the visit of Repton to the Hill. The 1s remain well-placed in Division One with two wins and a draw from their opening four fixtures.
