3s climb into second with another fine victory

The OHAFC 3rd XI registered their second consecutive three-goal win on Saturday, demolishing KCS Wimbledon 3s 4-1 on Harrow Hill and, in the process, moving up to second in the Division Five South table.

Alex Smith opened the scoring, latching onto a through-ball from Olly Roberts to fire past the 'keeper after a quarter of an hour. Despite dominating much of the first period that goal proved the only difference between the sides at the break.

The second half was more even but, paradoxically, Harrow scored three times: Connor Barrett thumped home from a corner; youngster Olly Roberts ran on to score to cap a fine performance with fifteen minutes remaining and there was even time for substitute Chuka Ilogu to register his first ever goal for the club. A long-range Wimbledon effort in stoppage time did little to dent Harrow celebrations.

The win moves the 3s up to second in the Division Five South table, although they now have a few weeks off before the return fixture with Saturday's opponents.
