3s pay the penalty for their profligacy as run ends

23 Jan 2018

The OHAFC 3s' 8-game winning streak was finally ended on Saturday by the Old King's Scholars in a remarkably frustrating manner.

Despite dominating the encounter for long spells, the Blues contrived to miss two penalties, both at 0-0, and a host of other chances, eventually having to settle for a 1-1 draw. Ned Callander scored the Harrow goal with twelve minutes remaining but there was to be no late reprieve and the hosts were forced to settle for just a point against a side they had beaten 8-1 earlier in the season.

Despite the disappointment, the OHAFC remain in a healthy position atop the Division Five South table, three points clear of nearest challengers Shirburnians and with a game in hand.
