Alhadeff's five goal salvo fires 2s into second

29 Oct 2016

Jack Alhadeff scored four high-quality goals in a remarkable twenty minute spell late in the second half to help the OHAFC 2nd XI to a stunning 7-2 victory over their Chigwell counterparts on Saturday afternoon.

Incredibly, with over an hour played the two sides were locked at 2-2 and Chigwell looking the more lively side. But Alhadeff, last season's top scorer for the 2s, then took charge, converting crosses from Max Curry and Doug Morrison before collecting a stray clearance and firing past the stranded 'keeper from forty yards with his weaker right foot. He added a fifth for good measure following his first-half header that had opened the scoring.

The Blues' other goals came from a David Lederman penalty and a late Doug Morrison chip. The win lifts the side into second in Division Three ahead of next week's trip to Salopians.
