Another four from James Breeden as 1s hammer Malvern

12 Feb 2018

James Breeden took his tally to 31 for the season in all competitions as, for the second week running, the OHAFC 1st XI went goal crazy, putting seven past the Malvernians on the Brunel University astroturf.

The visitors led 3-1 at the break with Alex Gilbert scoring Harrow's second and Malvern pulling a goal back from the spot.

Two more goals for James Breeden put Harrow 5-2 up and they looked to be cruising to a comfortable win. But Malvern scored twice in quick succession to reduce the arrears to just a single goal with a quarter of an hour left.

Fortunately, further efforts from Alex Breeden and Josh Adejokun in the closing minutes secured the points for the visitors.

The side now have a two-week break before their final pair of fixtures for this season - the visit of Cholms to the Hill before a trip to face Aldenham. The OHAFC remain second in Division One but promotion is out of their hands, with both Brentwoods and Berkhamstedians having two games in hand.
