1s fall to heavy KCS Wimbledon defeat

19 Nov 2019

The OHAFC 1st XI fell to a disappointing 4-1 defeat by high-flying KCS Wimbledon on Saturday afternoon, the visitors proving too well-organised and too clinical with their finishing in a rather one-sided encounter on the Hill.

A frantic opening ten minutes saw both sides force opportunities but it was the visitors who gradually took control of the game, taking the lead, somewhat fortuitously, when a cross into the box ricocheted into Harry Bick and rebounded into the Harrow goal.

The second half saw the hosts struggle to escape Wimbledon's constant pressing and several wayward passes allowed the visitors to pounce, scoring three times courtesy of clinical finishes. Dan Firoozan scored Harrow's consolation goal late on, but the result had already been determined.

The Blues sit sixth in the Premier Division table ahead of this Saturday's trip to face the Old Tonbridgians in Wrotham.
