2nd XI: Cholms clash could mark turning point

26 Nov 2013

After last week’s win over Winchester, Jack Orr-Ewing’s side sees some regulars returning for the home fixture vs Old Cholmeleians this Saturday. As well as the two Orr-Ewing brothers, Kerry, Woolley, Robinson, Bone, Curry and Amin all missed last weekend’s three-pointer. At this stage of the season, Orr-Ewing and Stead are grateful to have such a healthy squad to choose from with no injury concerns.

Last weekend’s victory highlights the importance of a strong 3rd XI, with Khan, Gordon, Bajwa and Page all contributing to a crucial win.

New boy Cyprian Owen-Edmunds is set to feature for the second time this season after impressing a couple of weeks ago vs Forest. Pritchard is unavailable so Johan Harder is set to make his 2s season debut in goal.

The Division 3 table is tight and a win would see OHAFC keep pace with leaders Kings Wimbledon (next Saturday’s opponents). Two wins on the trot would put Harrow in a very healthy position with the Christmas break fast approaching.
