Defeat to Old Enemy leaves 1st XI in trouble

4 Mar 2014

The OHAFC 1st XI lost the crucial return fixture against Eton on Saturday, falling to a narrow 2-1 defeat that leaves them in seventh place in the Arthurian League Premier Division and still two wins away from ensuring their safety.

In a fine first half, the visitors took the lead through an excellent breakaway goal from Cyprian Owen-Edmunds. Eton responded just before the break with a superb free-kick of their own.

The second half was dominated by the home side and they took the lead from a corner with 25 minutes remaining.

Harrow pressed hard in the closing stages and should have forced an equaliser but the home side's goalkeeper was in inspired form.
