Fantasy Premier League goes down to the wire

3 May 2013

The OHAFC Fantasy Premier League 2012/13 is going down to the wire with just two point separating the top three fantasistas with three rounds of games remaining.

Long-time leader Paul 'The Menace' Molloy has suffered in recent weeks after relying on a dreadful midfield containing Norwich's Snodgrass ('Snoddy') and Newcastle's Sissoko ('Moussey').

His demise has seen the cream rise smoothly to the top with the two Dave's - Stead and Lederman - now vying for the title in a three-way mano-a-mano that could see a climax to rival that of the Premier League's injury time drama from a season ago.

Stead and Lederman have both enjoyed a period of consistent fantasising over the last few months - not together of course - with the former enjoying a one point lead over the latter and a two-point lead over Molloy.

This weekend's round of games could prove pivotal with no less than six sides in action twice over the next week.

The winner of the competition earns the right to be considered THE definitive voice on all footballing matters within the club and must be listened to whenever he speaks of the beautiful game.

People have to respect the champion, whomever that may be. You have to. Wafto.
