Old Enemies grind out gritty goalless draw

8 Nov 2014

The first 0-0 draw in six seasons for the OHAFC 1st XI earned the Blues a hard-fought point against a strong Eton side on the Hill on Saturday.

In poor conditions both sides endeavoured to play good football but chances were few and far between with neither 'keeper called into much action.

The one exception to this came late in the game with a dubious penalty awarded for handball against Harrow's Paul Molloy, even though at the time he was lying prone on the ground and the ball had been drilled at him from three yards away.

Fortunately, Fred Milln produced a fine save low to his right to preserve the blank scoreline and ensure a share of the spoils.

The 1st XI now take a break from League action with a fixture against the School XI next Saturday.
