Harder double ensures 1st XI win & safety

22 Mar 2014

A goal in each half from Johan Harder earnt the OHAFC 1st XI their second consecutive win and, as a result, ensured their safety in the top division for next season.

The trip to Brentwood, the longest of the season, proved to be a more comfortable affair than usual and the Blues were rarely troubled throughout. Despite a dry, bobbly surface, Ed Poulter's side put together some neat passages of football and should have won the game by more in the end.

As it was, Harder's two goals - the first a superb header, the second a comfortable volley from close range - meant that Harrow have moved into mid-table and can now look forward to the remaining three games of the season with their Premier Division status ensured.
