On this weekend...

10 Jan 2014

Continuing our look back through the OHAFC archives at games played on this weekend last season, three seasons ago and five seasons ago...

Last Season: January 12th 2013

1st XI: Lot 4-3 at home to Charterhouse in a controversial match involving referee Alan Higgs. Higgs awarded the visitors a disputed penalty after three minutes and sent off Fred Milln midway through the second half for a second booking.

The score by this point was 2-2, with Harrow twice responding to the visitors' goals through efforts from Harder and Defty.

A second harsh penalty gave the visitors the opportunity to take the lead for the third time but substitute Charlie Stebbings scored with practically his first touch to draw the sides level once again.

Charterhouse scored the winner with a fine effort from their left winger ten minutes from time to complete a miserable day for the OHAFC 1st XI.

OHAFC Tip of the Day - January 11th:

With the 2nd XI facing lower League opposition in the Cup and the 1st XI at home to the bottom side in the Premier Division there should be plenty of optimism swirling around north-west London going into the weekend.

Coral's are offering 6-4 on both OHAFC teams to score twice or more and win and this looks a decent bet despite the 1st XI missing leading scorer Harry Hoffen.

Lump on!
