Poor display sees Repton end 1s' unbeaten start

8 Oct 2018

A disappointing display from the OHAFC 1st XI saw them lose for the first this season, going down 3-1 to the Old Reptonians on a filthy Saturday afternoon on the Hill.

After some poor preparations, the side, led by Alex Breeden in the absence of regular skipper Yunus Sert, never got going and conceded twice to defensive errors either side of the break.

A third goal with just over half an hour remaining killed the fixture as a contest and despite a late goal from Breeden giving the 1s some hope, a spell of late pressure came to nothing and the Blues ended well beaten.

The side need to pick themselves up quickly for the visit of high-flying Radleians next weekend.
