School captain set for OHAFC debut

10 Feb 2017

Harrow School 1st XI captain George O'Malley, pictured here heading away from danger in November's Boodles Cup defeat at Eton, will make his OHAFC debut on Saturday when he steps out for the 1st XI in their vital clash away to KCS Wimbledon Old Boys in south London.

George not only turns out for Harrow School on a regular basis, but also the ISFA - Independent Schools representative side, captaining the Under 18s in fixtures against teams both domestic and international. He has been named in the squad to face the England Schools XI at Manchester United's Carrington training facility next Sunday having recently faced school representative sides from Wales and Australia.

Capable of playing in midfield or at the back, George's debut on Saturday is eagerly anticipated. He becomes the second schoolboy to play for the OHAFC this season following goalkeeper Harison Saunders' appearance in the 1st XI's 0-0 draw at the Old Marlburians back in November. Harison, pictured above alongside George, became the youngest player ever to represent the club when he made his debut.

Everyone wishes George and the 1st XI squad the best for Saturday's vital game.
