Weekend Round-Up: 3s beaten by League leaders
With the OHAFC 1s and 2s enjoying a weekend off, all eyes were on the 3s in Chiswick as they faced the not inconsiderable task of trying to earn a first win of the season against Division Four leaders the Old Canfordians.
The two sides met on the opening weekend of the season on the Harrow astorturf and shared an entertaining 2-2 draw. But this time the Canfordians proved too strong for the Blues, running out 4-2 winners.
The visitors played well enough, scoring twice through Dan Graham and skipper Freddie Everett. But the hosts are a powerful outfit who appear destined for promotion come spring and three goals prior to half-time ensured the victory was rarely in doubt.
The OHAFC 3s remain bottom of Division Four, still without a win from their first six League fixtures of the season.
