Ciaran Jordan

biography

Ciaran is a quick, adaptable player, capable of playing pretty much any position outfield. He made his debut for the club as a right-back in the 1s' 1-1 draw away to Salopians in the first game of 2020 and played the following week in the disappointing 4-1 defeat at home to Chigs on the Phil.

Ciaran only played once the following season, with Covid decimating the League programme, but he really made his mark in 2021/22, pressed into action as the 1s' main striker. Although the campaign would ultimately end in relegation, Ciaran performed consistently throughout, scoring three times - his first goal for the side came in the Blues' 2-1 win over the Old Foresters in late January 2022 on the Phil, Ciaran latching onto a long goal-kick before chipping the keeper. He also scored against the Wykehamists a few weeks later before turning in an excellent display at centre-half in the suprising 2-2 draw away to the Carthusians, earning the visitors a point with a superb low shot into the bottom corner.
