Fraser McGuinness

biography

Slightly undersized for a 'keeper at just 5'10" tall, Fraser nevertheless possesses the confidence and agility to make himself a worthy adversary for opposition strikers. Strong in the air and an excellent shot-stopper, Fraser is a vocal presence at the back with perhaps the one weakness in his game his kicking off the ground.

He made his debut in November 2014 in a 2nd XI game against the Old Malvernians in a 5-0 win at Harrow. Despite the scoreline, he produced an impressive display to keep a clean sheet and was soon being called up by both the 1s and 2s. He ended his debut season with the club having made twelve appearances for the 1s and four for the 2s.

2015/16 saw Fraser firmly established as the 1st XI's number one and he responded with some consistent displays between the sticks, ending the season with 16 appearances and five clean sheets under his belt as the side earned promotion back into the Premier Division.

Fraser moved to New York for a year due to work so made just three appearances in 2016/17, turning out once for the 2s and twice for the 3s.

But he was back in London in time for the start of the following campaign, once again featuring as the 1s' regular stopper.
