Breeden hat-trick sees 1s extend League run

30 Oct 2017

A well-taken hat-trick from leading scorer James Breeden allowed the OHAFC 1st XI to see off bottom side Old Reptonians comfortably enough on Saturday afternoon - the win coming despite Yunus Sert's men being far from their best.

Two goals in a ten-minute spell prior to the break gave the hosts a comfortable enough advantage but Repton improved after the break and only a last-ditch tackle from Ed Poulter and a fine save from 'keeper Emre Sert kept the visitors out.

Fortunately, some quick thinking from Alex Breeden saw a quick throw free Will Bamford down the right and he squared for leading scorer James Breeden to complete his hat-trick and seal the win.

Harrow remain in third in Division One, hot on the tails of leaders Brentwoods and Bradfieldians. The side return to cup action next week with the first round replay of their Dunn Cup tie with the Old Alleynians.
