It may not have had the month-long build-up Sky Sports News gave to the announcement of the new Premier League fixture list, but the release of the draw for the first two rounds of the upcoming season's Arthur Dunn Cup nevertheless gave the OHAFC 1st XI their first taste of what awaits them in 2013/14.

After last season's run to the semi-finals and an instantly forgettable 4-0 humbling by First Division Winchester, the Blues were offered two potentially intriguing challenges against sides they have not faced for several seasons - with away fixtures in both rounds.

First up is a trip to Old Reptonians in early November. In days gone by Repton were one of the top Arthurian League sides and handed out several Cup drubbings to the OHAFC in the 1990's. Recent seasons have seen the side fall down the Divisions however with the burden of enticing old boys from the Derbyshire-based school to play in London becoming ever harder.

Nevertheless, the team who finished third in Division Two last season reached the Dunn final two years ago, losing 1-0 to Harrow's conquerors Tonbridge. In last season's competition they suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat at home to Premier Division outfit Cholmelians so the task in front of the OHAFC 1st XI will certainly not be an easy one.

The winners of this First Round tie have been drawn away to the winners of the Berkhamsted v Aldenham tie. Berkhamsted were runners-up in Division Four last season, Aldenham third in Division One, missing out on promotion to the Premier Division by just three points.

The draw also threw up the intriguing prospect of last year's two finalists, Charterhouse and Winchester, meeting in the second round.

First round matches are scheduled to be played on or before November 2nd, with second round games slated for the week before Christmas.
