3s fall to Alleynians despite strong showing

28 Sep 2020

Despite a much-improved showing, the OHAFC 3s once again came unstuck, losing 6-3 to their Alleynian counterparts in a highly-entertaining, if slightly fractious Division Four encounter in south London.

A breathtaking first half saw the sides share six goals: Will Glover gave the visitors the lead, before the hosts hit back to score three times, twice via set-pieces; the OHAFC responded thanks to a couple of penalties, safely converted by Ali Buckley.

Two goals early in the second half gave the Alleynians the upper hand and despite another good response from the Blues, a late sixth with ten minutes remaining sealed the points for the unbeaten team from Dulwich College.
