Arthurian League football set to resume once more

2 Dec 2020

Following the end of the latest month-long Coronavirus national lockdown, Arthurian League football will thankfully resume this weekend with three of the club's four sides in action:

  • The 1st XI host the Old Bradfieldians in a Premier League encounter on the Phil, the 1s will be desperate for a first win of the season in a bid to haul themselves off the foot of the table

  • The 3rd XI are also in action on the Phil, and also in search of their first win of the season, in what looks to be, on paper at least, a favourable home tie against Old Brentwoods 4s in the first round of the Junior League Cup. Brentwoods are currently bottom of Division Five North with an appalling League record so the Harrow 3s will be strong favourites to progress

  • Meanwhile the Veterans take to the immaculate pitches at the Bank of England Club on Sunday morning for their second fixture of the season, somewhat oddly against the same opposition from the first game: Old Witans. That game finished 1-1 in a feisty encounter so both teams should be raring to go in search of victory this time

Match reports from all three games will be available on www.ohafc.com from early next week, as hopefully the football season can this time progress without any further disruption.
