This Friday sees the club celebrate the 160th anniversary of its founding with the biennial dinner at the Hurlingham Club in south west London.

A few tickets are still available for those who have not yet confirmed their attendance at what promises to be a hugely enjoyable evening. As well as the usual chance to catch up with old friends and find out what the club has been up to in the last couple of years, there will also be, for the first time in recent memory, a professional comedian helping to entertain those present: Ian Irving has an excellent reputation for his after-dinner repertoire and should provide plenty of laughs later in the evening.

Proceedings begin at 6pm with the formal dinner scheduled to start at 7.15pm.

Dress is lounge suits for men and equivalently smart for ladies. All are welcome.
