On this weekend...

Continuing our look back through the OHAFC archives at games played on this weekend last season, three seasons ago and five seasons ago...

Last Season: March 9th 2013

1st XI: Suffered one of their worst defeats in living memory, a shocking 4-0 loss at home to Division One Winchester in the semi-finals of the Arthur Dunn Cup.

On a day when nothing seemed to go right for the Blues, Ed Poulter's heavily fancied side fell behind to a well-worked Winchester goal midway through the first half.

The home side then missed several clear-cut chances to level before conceding a second from a set-piece early in the second half.

The visitors immediately got everyone behind the ball to restrict Harrow's forward play and the tactic worked to perfection, forcing the Blues to send increasing numbers forward in desperation, resulting in two further Winchester goals on the counter.

The crushing 4-0 defeat ended hopes of an eagerly-anticipated Harrow v Charterhouse final and gave the Premier Division champions an easy passage to another Dunn triumph, Winchester themselves defeated 4-0 in the final.

2nd XI: Lost 3-0 at home to Lancing 2's in the quarter-finals of the Junior League Cup to confirm a miserable day for the Club in the cup competitions.

Several late cry-offs left Arjun Chopra short of midfield options and although the home side had their chances, they were undone by some swift Lancing counter-attacks. The defeat ended Harrow hopes of a third successive Junior League Cup final appearance and left the side to concentrate on securing Division Three status for next season.

3rd XI: No fixture

Three Seasons Ago: March 10th 2012

1st XI: Beat Old Cholmelians 2-0 on the Hill. David Lederman opened the scoring after just five minutes, latching onto a fine Ed Martins through-ball to round the 'keeper and fire home left-footed from 30 yards out.

The match was an even affair and both sides had good chances to score but it wasn't until the 70th minute that another effort proved successful, Lederman curling in a free-kick for Fred Richardson to head home following good work down the right from Nick Defty.

The points were secured late on when Harrow 'keeper Luke Raffety made a superb save to ensure the home side registered a rare clean sheet.

2nd XI: Beat Epsom 4-2 in the quarter-finals of the Junior League Cup thanks to a hat-trick from leading scorer Bemini Soyinka.

The win was not as comfortable as the score suggested however, with a goalless first half showing how closely matched the two sides were.

Two Soyinka goals in the fist ten minutes of the second half set Harrow on their way before Epsom replied shortly afterwards.

Johan Harder restored the home side's two-goal advantage before a magnificent long-range effort from an Epsomian midfielder again brought the sides within a goal of each other.

But a semi-final place was finally assured late on when Soyinka clinched his second hat-trick of the season, calmly finishing having been sent clean through by Ed Arghebant's pass.

3rd XI: No fixture

Five Seasons Ago: March 6th 2010

1st XI: Lost 4-3 at home to Brentwoods in a see-saw encounter that appeared to end any hopes the side had of challenging for the League title.

Harry Hoffen and Ed Martins scored three fine goals but defensive lapses at the other end cost the home side dearly and they slipped further behind leaders Charterhouse with seven games of the season remaining.

2nd & 3rd XI's: No fixture
