On this weekend...

14 Mar 2014

Continuing our look back through the OHAFC archives at games played on this weekend last season, three seasons ago and five seasons ago...

Last Season: March 16th 2013

1st XI: Were thumped 7-0 at Charterhouse to complete a miserable week for the side following their Dunn Cup semi-final defeat to Winchester seven days earlier.

With over half the Dunn Cup side making themselves unavailable for the trip to the League leaders, three players made their 1st XI debuts: Max Curry, Alex Elwell and Azhar Khan.

Harrow conceded after twenty minutes but then held firm until just before the break. Unfortunately two goals either side of half time killed the fixture as a contest and as Harrow legs tired late on, the home side took full advantage, scoring four more to give the scoreline a decidedly one-sided feel.

2nd & 3rd XI's: No fixture

Three Seasons Ago: March 17th 2012

1st XI: No fixture

2nd XI: Hammered Westminster 2nd XI 7-0 on the Phil with in-form Bemini Soyinka scoring four times in the rout.

Phil Berry opened the scoring after just five minutes in a game played in driving rain. Two goals in two minutes, one from Soyinka, the other courtesy of an own goal, gave Harrow a comfortable 3-0 lead with less than twenty minutes of the game played. The Harrow striker added a second on the half hour and scored twice more as the home side ran amok.

Hugo Trower completed the scoring to earn Arjun Chopra's side their biggest win of the season.

3rd XI: No fixture

Five Seasons Ago: March 13th 2010

1st XI: No fixture

2nd XI: Thumped Bradfield 4-0 on the Hill with another player helping himself to a hat-trick, this time Johan Harder.

The Dane connected twice with headers from set-pieces and completed his man of the match performance with a superb 30-yard free-kick to kill off the opposition. Nick Warner added a fourth and the Blues went home happy.

3rd XI: No fixture
