The 2s fell to a disappointing 5-0 defeat away to the Old Cholmeleians in Arkley. Battling into a strong wind in the first half, the Blues fell behind after half an hour but goals either side of the break halted any hopes of a comeback. Cholms added two more late on and the scoreline didn't flatter them.

But brighter news came from Tolworth near Kingston as the 3s comfortably saw off Lancing 2s in the first round of this season's Junior League Cup - Adam Graham, Olly Roberts and Freddie Everett were the scorers in a 3-0 win.

The 'Panthers' reward is a place in round two and a tricky looking tie against Old Ardinians 2s - a side they have already met twice in the League this season, winning once and losing the other.
