Weekend Round-Up: Vital wins for both 1s and 3s
Both the OHAFC 1st and 3rd XIs secured vital League wins on Saturday to boost their hopes of survival in their respective divisions.
For the second time this season, the 1s were involved in a high-scoring thriller against Old Berkhamstedians, again conceding four goals to their opponents. But this time the Blues came out on top, with a brace from skipper Dan Firoozan and further goals from Ed Beecham, Arthur Leney, George Taylor and Will Swan earning the home side a 6-4 win that carries the team into seventh in Division One.
Meanwhile, the 3s travelled down to Hampton to play an Old King's Scholars side who had beaten them 3-2 on the opening weekend of the season. This time it was a different story, with the visitors coming away with a crucial 3-1 win courtesy of goals from leading scorer Adam Graham (2) and Freddie Everett.
Team sheets and match reports from both games are now available in the results section.
