2s maintain 100% start with gritty Eton win

15 Oct 2019

The OHAFC 2nd XI maintained their 100% start to the new season with another excellent away win, this time holding off a strong Etonian challenge to emerge 2-1 victors in soggy conditions in Windsor.

Early goals from Gbeminiyi Soyinka and Ollie Curry earned the visitors an early lead but the hosts responded with an excellent headed goal before the break.

The second half saw Eton pile on the pressure but some excellent Harrow defending, and a superb performance in goal from Charlie Walsh, saw the Blues hold on to the end and claim a fourth straight win - the first OH side to achieve such a feat for over a decade.

The 2s stay top of Division Two and enjoy a three-point lead over three sides below them.
