Superb display sees 1s beat Eton in Dunn Cup

15 Oct 2019

The OHAFC 1st XI produced one of their finest displays for several seasons, and comfortably their best in the Arthur Dunn Cup, to defeat the Old Etonians 3-0 on Saturday and reach the second round of the competition for the first time in three seasons.

Despite missing several regular players, the Blues battled hard in the first half and scored twice courtesy of a superb James Breeden strike and a well-worked goal finished by young striker James Tippett.

Eton poured forwards after the break but the Harrow defence held firm and when Breeden scored another excellent goal with ten minutes remaining the result was confirmed.

The Blues must wait to discover who they will face in round two, with the winners of the Old KCS Wimbledon and Old Aldenhamians tie travelling to the Hill in mid-December.

Saturday's team lineup, match report and photos (courtesy of photographer Andy Nunn) are now available in the results section here.
