OHAFC training successfully resumes

19 Sep 2018

Tuesday night's first training session of the season at the new rooftop venue in Chelsea was greatly enjoyed by the 15 players who attended.

2nd XI skipper Geoff Taunton-Collins' sterling efforts to locate a suitable venue to restart weekly training has paid dividends, with the new pitch, on top of Marlborough Primary School, an ideal size and in a convenient location.

The fifteen players who attended on Tuesday were split into three teams of five and were rotated on and off during the hour-long slot.

It was pleasing to note the presence of players from both ends of the OHAFC spectrum - from debutants who have just left the school right up to gnarly, old veterans such as Harry Hoffen, who - even in his 40's - still manages to show a frightening turn of pace when the mood takes him.

Training will continue through until mid-December form 7-8pm on Tuesday evenings. All the details can be found here - all OHAFC members are welcome - please update your training availability if you plan to attend any session.
